Proposed School Admission Arrangements 2015-16

This consultation asks your views about the proposed new intake admission arrangements and co-ordinated admission schemes, including over-subscription criteria.  It includes admission numbers and in-year admission arrangements for 2015-16

The consultation is open to everyone, particularly:

  • Parents of children in North Somerset
  • Head Teachers and Chairs of Governors of all mainstream schools in North Somerset.
  • Neighbouring Local Education Authorities
  • The Diocese of Bath and Wells, the Clifton Diocese and the Methodist Church
  • Town and Parish Councils in North Somerset
  • Governors Association of North Somerset
  • Ethnic Minority & Traveller Education Service
  • Durban Trust
  • North Somerset Councillors
  • North Somerset CYPS Policy and Scrutiny Panel
  • Local Members of Parliament
  • North Somerset School Access Forum
  • North Somerset Strategic Schools Forum
  • North Somerset CYPS Senior Leadership Team & Other Officers.
The proposals cover all Community and Voluntary Controlled (VC) Schools in North Somerset.  It also includes those Academies, Co-operative and Foundation Trust Schools and Voluntary Aided Schools that have elected to consult on their arrangements for 2015-16.
 

The consultation ends at 5pm on 28 February 2014. Determined arrangements will be set between 1 March and 15 April 2014.
