Policy DM53: Royal Portbury Dock recognises that there are potential ecological constraints which is welcomed. We support the development of the Royal Portbury Dock, recognising its contribution to employment opportunities for our residents. We also support he need to avoid harm to the amenities of residents of Easton-in-Gordano both from the actual port and from the road and rail traffic generated from it. This should include the recognition of port rail traffic jeopardising the provision of a passenger train service between Portishead and Bristol.
